Social Media Intern (Kickstart Scheme)

We’ve an opportunity for an internship for an ambitious graduate to provide support to the team. Whilst our preference is for a degree, we will consider applications from candidates without a higher education qualification who have outstanding A level results including A* in English Language and English Literature. 

Salary:             Kickstart rates (37.5 hour week)        

Start date:       March 2021 (6 month placement)


Clarity Comms is an award-winning social media and content creation agency specialising in food and drink. Founded in 2013, we work for brands in the beer, craft beer, cider, restaurant, spirits, and wines categories. 

The Role 

From day one you’ll be supporting our clients’ community management requirements. This involves social media content planning, monitoring client channels, liaising with client teams, and talking to consumers via social media. You’ll also be given the chance to help generate ideas for client campaigns, pursue new business activity, and help drive the agency’s own PR. 

Each day is different, but typical tasks might be:

  • monitoring all client’s social media channels
  • ensuring all posts are replied to and queries sent to client
  • emailing updates to our clients
  • writing content for clients’ social channels
  • brainstorming campaign ideas
  • planning the week’s workload 

You’ll also have access to training during the placement which will comprise of a mix of internal courses as well as external training.


It’s a cliché, but we’re looking for an organised, dynamic individual who has a real passion for marketing and can add value for our clients.  

If you’re looking for an easy career route, this isn’t the role for you. We love what we do, but there’s no doubt that we work hard. We’re looking for someone who’s willing to do the same. 

You MUST be a superb writer. It’s 90% of what we do. Of course, we’ll teach you how to craft killer social media content, but please don’t apply if you haven’t got the basics.
