Clarity Comms are an award-winning social media and PR agency specialising in food, drinks and hospitality sectors. We help our clients reach, engage and activate their consumers through social media.
Whether its developing social media strategies, developing campaigns, content creation, influencer and community management or social media advertising, we help our client’s business growth.
Founded in 2013 we work for brands in the beer, craft beer, cider, pub, restaurant, snack foods, spirits and wines categories.
From day one you’ll be working on campaigns for our clients – this involves social media content planning, social media advertising, liaising with media and writing blog posts. You’ll also help generate ideas for new business activity and help drive the agency’s own PR.
A typical day might look something like this:
- 9.30: tea and catch up on the week’s workload, reviewing industry news and trends
- 10.30: monitor all client’s social media activity, ensuring all posts are replied to and queries sent to client
- 12.00: write content for your clients
- 1.00: lunch
- 2.00: more tea, more content writing
- 3.00: write blog post for Clarity website and agency tweets
- 5.00: research influencer opportunities for clients
- 5.45: tea then home
It’s a cliché but we’re looking for a dynamic individual who has a real passion for our business and our clients. We’ll look at applicants from any discipline though candidates who’ve graduated in business, marketing, media or PR will have an advantage.
You will be integral in helping us to build our reputation within the food and drink sector. You’ll get to attend industry events, training courses and of course, you’ll get to sample a few of our client’s products!
If you’re looking for an easy career route this isn’t the role for you. We work hard but we really enjoy what we do and we want someone to be part of our close knit team.
You MUST be a superb writer. It’s 90% of what we do. Of course we’ll teach you how to craft a press release and write killer social media content but please don’t apply if you haven’t got the basics.
Social media is what we do so it goes without saying you need to be all over it. Be warned: we will check out your profiles before meeting you.

We’ll then be shortlisting candidates for an initial telephone interview. A final shortlist of candidates will be invited to an interview at our office. This will also involve a short presentation to the agency owners.
